Building Games That Connect With Players

We started in 2019 with a simple belief—mobile games should feel personal.

Not every studio gets to work on projects they actually care about. We do. Based in Taipei, we focus on creating mobile games that resonate with players across Taiwan and beyond. Our team combines technical skill with a genuine understanding of what makes games memorable.

How We Got Here

Six years isn't a long time in game development. But we've learned what works and what doesn't when creating for mobile platforms.

2019

Starting Small

Three developers in a shared workspace. We released our first game to 2,000 players. The feedback taught us more than any tutorial ever could.

2021

Finding Our Voice

Moved to our Shilin office. Expanded to eight team members. Started focusing exclusively on mobile platforms after trying (and failing) at too many things.

2023

Growing With Purpose

Reached 150,000 active players across our titles. Built long-term relationships with platform partners. Learned that sustainable growth beats viral spikes.

Our Development Process

We don't follow a rigid formula. But there are certain things we always do when building a game—because skipping them never ends well.

1

Player Research First

We spend weeks talking to potential players before writing any code. What games do they already play? When do they play? What frustrates them? This research shapes everything that comes after.

2

Prototype Quickly

First versions are always rough. We build basic mechanics in two weeks, then test with real players. Half our initial ideas get scrapped here. That's the point—finding what works before investing months of development.

3

Iterate Based on Data

Every testing session generates useful feedback. We track what players actually do, not just what they say. Session length, drop-off points, repeated actions—these metrics guide our refinements through multiple iterations.

4

Polish Where It Matters

Not every element needs perfection. We focus polish time on the features players interact with most. Smooth controls, clear feedback, satisfying audio—these details make games feel professional without bloating development time.

The People Behind The Games

Small teams move faster. Everyone here contributes directly to what players experience. No bureaucracy, no endless approval chains.

Linnea Bergqvist

Creative Director

Linnea moved to Taiwan in 2018 after working on console games in Stockholm. She started our studio because she saw a gap—mobile games designed specifically for Asian players, not Western ports. She still plays every build personally.

Before: Struggling With Direction

Our first year was chaotic. We tried making puzzle games, then action games, then some weird hybrid nobody wanted. We burned through most of our initial funding chasing trends instead of building something we understood.

The Shift: Finding Our Focus

In early 2021, we decided to specialize. Mobile platforms only. Casual gameplay with depth. Design for commuters and lunch breaks. This constraint actually freed us—we could finally get good at something specific.

Now: Building What Works

Today we release two to three games per year. Each one performs better than the last because we're applying what we learned previously. Our player retention rates have doubled since 2022. We're not the biggest studio, but we're sustainable.

Player Experience Over Features

We cut features regularly if they complicate the core experience. A game with five polished mechanics beats one with twenty half-finished ideas.

Honest Communication

When something isn't working, we say so. No corporate speak, no pretending problems don't exist. Direct feedback helps us improve faster.

Sustainable Development

Crunch culture produces burnout, not better games. We maintain reasonable schedules and realistic deadlines. Our team has minimal turnover because of this.

Continuous Learning

Mobile platforms change constantly. We allocate time each week for team members to experiment with new tools and techniques that might improve our process.
